A city for all – All for a city.
Berlin faces major challenges: rents are rising, many people feel that politicians are not taking them seriously, and important decisions are made without the urban community. At the same time, people everywhere are campaigning for affordable housing, better schools and fairer mobility.
That is why BerlinZusammen exists. In 2026, a new House of Representatives will be elected — we want this to be a turning point for a new kind of politics. We are intervening in the election with our campaign: with concrete demands, for candidates who publicly commit to them and are subsequently prepared to fight for them.
Our 5 demands
We have contacted all direct candidates of democratic parties. We are making candidates who publicly endorse our demands visible – so that you know when voting who is campaigning for a policy shift based on solidarity.
→ To the election check: Who is backing our demands?
To achieve this, we bring together initiatives, activists and neighbourhoods. BerlinZusammen includes people who have been politically active for a long time – as well as many who are getting involved for the first time. We are united by the desire to make Berlin a place worth living in for everyone by getting involved together.
We are entering the final straight.
Just a few days left for a progressive majority in Berlin.
We want a solidaristic majority in Berlin. To achieve this, we are fighting above all where our demands are most fiercely contested – and going to the doors to make a difference. Against the politics of fear from the right. For a solidaristic Berlin. Well prepared, with a clear plan. Everyone is welcome.

Where we come from.
We have been working for over a year to make the House of Representatives election a turning point for Berlin politics. Here is how we have worked:
Structure and strategy
Establishment of coordination circle, working groups and association structure. Analysis of key constituencies (focus on tipping swing districts in East and West Berlin) and development of concrete demands with a focus on housing, public transport, schools and inclusion.
Mobilisation & party outreach
Building local groups in focus districts and city-wide mobilisation teams. On-the-ground presence. Approaching candidates and parties: Who will make a binding commitment to our demands?
Doorstep conversations for a politics of solidarity
BerlinZusammen is getting involved in the election campaign – for a Berlin based on solidarity. We are focusing on constituencies that we can win for a real change in politics. There we are going door-to-door and talking with Berliners about our demands
