On 9 August, something will happen in Berlin that has never happened there before.
Aferdita Suka (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, Tempelhof-Schöneberg Constituency 4) seals the BerlinZusammen handshake as the first direct candidate!

With her handshake, she commits herself to,
💜 to support our five demands for a Berlin based on solidarity,
💚 to report publicly every three months on the status of implementation and to answer questions,
💜 to use a portion of the parliamentary allowance for a public meeting space in the district,
💚 using the visibility as a member of the House of Representatives to bring public attention to issues affecting urban society.

Because we believe: Anyone who wants to be elected should also be willing to make a public promise to the people. Democracy must not end on polling day!

BerlinZusammen supports direct candidates who are prepared to make a public handshake with the urban community and take on democratic accountability.
